We at TradeKey would like all
transactions between our members to be mutually beneficial. While we cannot guarantee
the success of every transaction, we would like to provide you with a few tips
that you must take into consideration before making a payment:
1. Check your seller with TradeKey regarding any
feedbacks or complaints that they may have received in the past. You may
contact TradeKey’s Feedback department at email@example.com for
assistance as they monitor all feedbacks for sellers.
make sure that you use your TradeKey Message Center for all conversations. This
will ensure that you are in contact with the actual and authorized
representative of a particular company, a comfort not guaranteed while using
free online messengers.
3. Please use Secure Payment Methods such
as Escrow.com, Letter of Credit, PayPal or Bank Wire Transfer (to a Corporate
Account only) for making payments to sellers, as opposed to using Western
Union. If a seller insists that you pay them
using Western Union, please refrain from dealing with them.
4. If you
are ordering branded items, please do confirm from the sellers that the items
are in fact genuine. If they claim they are, then they should be able to
provide you with a Certificate of Authenticity or Distributor’s License. This
way the brand will be liable in case there is a mishap.
5. You may also try and contact the
commercial services usually located at the Consulate or Embassy of the country
that you want to import from. Their job is to help verify sellers from their
country. For example, if you want to import from China, you should contact the
commercial services of China, etc.
